Stabat – Di tengah guyuran hujan, ribuan massa melakukan aksi damai di Kantor Kejari Langkat, Kamis (16/5/2024) pagi. Mereka menilai, tunturan restitusi yang diajukan Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) Rp2,6 Miliar tidak rasional.
Bobby Purwadi, kordinator aksi menegaskan, selama persidangan tak ada satupun saksi yang menyebutkan nama mantan bupati langkat Terbit Rencana Peranginangin (TRP). Artinya massa menilai, tak ada keterlibatan TRP dalam perkara Tindak Pidana Perdangan Orang (TPPO) yang tengah disidangkan di PN Stabat.
“Kami meminta jaksa penuntut umum (JPU) menuntut perkara TPPO yang menjerat pak Terbit dengan hati nurani, bukan karena adanya intervensi dari LPSK. Dari saksi baik dari JPU atau pun yang meringankan, tidak ada yang menerangkan keterlibatan pak Terbit,” ketus Bobby.
Selain itu, Bobby juga mengatakan, tuntutan restitusi yang diajukan LPSK sebesar ratusan juta untuk setiap korban tidak rasional. Karena, tuntutan tersebut tidak dilengkapi dengan rincian yang detail.
Bahkan, ada beberapa saksi yang didampingin LPSK menyatakan untuk mencabut restitusinya. “Kita menuntut agar jaksa fair dan adil dalam membuat tuntutannya. Jangan takut atas intervensi dari LPSK,” tegas Bobby.
Ketua Aliansi Mahasiswa Langkat Anti Narkotika (AMANAT) Agung Permana SH menrangkan, sejak TRP mendekam di sel tahanan, peredaran narkotika di Langkat kian meresahkan. Banyak barak narkoba yang berdiri dan menjajakan barang haram itu di Negeri Langkat Bertuah itu.
“Tak ada sosok di Langkat seperti pak TRP yang serius memerangi narkotika. Sejak beliau ditahan, para mafia-mafia narkotika semakin meraja rela menjalankan bisnis haramnya. Kami meminta, penegak hukum jeli dan adil dalam memutuskan perkara TPPO yang menjerat pak TRP,” tutur Agung.
Hal senada juga disampaikan perwakilan masyarakat dari Kecamatan Kuala. Mereka kian resah atas peradaran narkotika yang sudah meresahkan di sana. Harapannya, ada sosok lain seperti TRP yang berani dan tegas untuk memerangi peradaran dan penyalahan narkotika di bumi Langkat.
Di sela orasi itu, Kasi Pidum Kejari Langkat Hendra Abdi P Sinaga SH menerangkan, proses perkara TRP sedang berlangsung. Ia meminta agar masyarakat menghargai proses persidangan tersebut.
“Akan ada tuntutan, ada putusan. Kalau TRP tak berkenan, lewat kuasa hukumnya kan ada upaya hukum. Ada mekanisme yang diberikan undang-undang. Kita hargai proses persidangan ini,” kata Hendra, didampingi kepala seksi lainnya.
Hendra memastikan, tidak ada intervensi dari pihak manapun dalam proses persidangan perkara TPPO yang menjerat TRP. Bagaimana hasil akhir dari proses hukumnya, itulah yang terbaik untuk seluruh masyarakat di Kabupaten Langkat. (Ahmad)
