MEDAN – Tim gabungan Polda Sumut, Polrestabes Medan, Polsek Medan Area, Dinas Pariwisata Medan, Lurah Kelurahan Sei Rengas II, Babinsa, Bhabinkamtibmas dan Kepling melakukan inspeksi mendadak ke Yang Plaza, Jalan Emas, Medan, Rabu (24/4/2024) siang.
Hal itu dilakukan guna memastikan pemberitaan sejumlah media online dan media sosial yang menyebutkan Yang Lim Plaza diduga dijadikan lokasi perjudian.
Hasilnya, tim gabungan tidak menemukan adanya praktik perjudian di gedung Yang Lim Plaza tepatnya di arena permainan ketangkasan City Game.
Ditemui di lokasi, perwakilan Dinas Pariwisata Kota Medan, Dani mengatakan, pihaknya melakukan inspeksi mendadak ke City Game Yang Lim Plaza untuk melakukan pemeriksaan kelengkapan ijin beroperasi City Game.
“Dari hasil pemeriksaan yang kita lakukan, City Game telah memiliki ijin beroperasi sejak tahun 2021 lalu dan sampai sekarang masih aktif,” ujar Dani didampingi Lurah Kelurahan Sei Rengas II, Kecamatan Medan Area.
Dani juga menegaskan jika di City Game Yang Lim Plaza tidak ada ditemukan indikasi perjudian.
“Dari hasil pemeriksaan yang kita lakukan, tidak ada indikasi perjudian disini (City Game). Pihak pengelola hanya memberikan hadiah berupa barang-barang seperti, televisi, handphone, setrika, rice cooker dan lainnya kepada pengunjung yang beruntung/menang dalam permainan ketangkasan,” jelas Dani.
Terakhir, Dani menghimbau kepada pelaku usaha untuk mentaati peraturan yang berlaku. (Red)
