MEDAN – Wita Wahyuni, A.M.Keb tak banyak orang mengenalnya seperti layaknya seorang politisi yang sering hingar bingar di media massa.
Wajahnya tak pernah muncul di media mainstream apalagi di layar kaca. Maklum saja, lantaran Wita yang memantaskan diri maju untuk merebut kursi DPRD Provinsi Sumut dari Dapil Sumut 1 atau Medan A ini, hanya berprofesi bidan kampung yang kerap menjadi penyelamat bagi masayakat termaginal.
Kenapa disebut bidan kampung? karena kegiatannya mengobati pasien atau menolong persalinan pasien hanya di seputar kampung halamannya di Mandala, Kecamatan Medan Denai, Kota Medan secara khusus masyarakat pinggiran dan marginal.
Paling jauh pasien yang datang hanya dari Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Sesekali saja dari daerah yang jauh dari Kota Medan.
Tapi kelebihannya, Wita dikenal pasiennya bekerja dengan hati.
Ia selalu sabar meladeni keluhan pasien-pasiennya yang datang untuk berobat ke praktiknya yang berada di Jalan Tangguk Bongkar I, maupun juga saat bertandang langsung menyambangi rumah sang pasien.
Bagi Wita mengobati orang harus dilakukan dengan sepenuh hati. Karena obat-obatan maupun pertolongan medis menurutnya khasiat nomor dua untuk sebuah kesembuhan. Paling utama dan yang terpenting adalah memperlakukan dan melayani pasien dengan hati tulus dan ikhlas.
“Alhamdulillah, dengan izin dan pertolongan Allah, pasien yang datang akan merasa bahagia dan gembira. Bagi saya menolong orang untuk sembuh dari sakit adalah kebahagiaan luar biasa yang melapangkan hati sanubari,” ucap Wita kepada awak media, Jumat (9/2/2024) malam.
Terkait dengan tekadnya maju menjadi calon legislatif, kata Wita, tak lain tak bukan hanya ingin sejahtera bersama masyarakat.
Wita ingin memastikan pelayanan kesehatan dikerjakan maksimal untuk masyarakat dan gratis pula bagi masyarakat yang tak berpunya.
“Saya mau maju karena itu. Saya mau fokus agar pelayanan kesehatan yang sangat penting bagi masyarakat dilakukan secara benar di fasilitas-fasilitas kesehatan yang disediakan oleh Pemerintah. Jangan sampai ada pelayanan yang basa-basi,” ungkap ibu beranak empat ini.
Perempuan kelahiran 8 September 1984 ini, punya harapan agar masyarakat tak sulit mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan ketika sakit. Dan lebih mencegah datangnya penyakit melalui pola hidup yang sehat.
“Tapi tentunya semua itu harus didahulukan dengan sebuah kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat. Bagaimana masyarakat bisa mencegah sakit, sedangkan untuk makan sehari-hari saja sulit. Artinya sejalan dengan Partai Golkar yang mengutamakan pelayanan kesehatan melalui program Yellow Clinic, saya akan sangat mendorong program pelayanan kesehatan berjalan maksimal pada fasilitas kesehatan yang disediakan oleh negara atau pemerintah. Jangan sampai ada masyarakat tak bisa berobat karena tak ada duit. Apalagi sudah banyak sekali program kesehatan dari Pemerintah Pusat yang dibuat oleh Presiden Jokowi maupun Pemerintah Kota Medan yang memastikan berobat gratis bagi masyarakat tak mampu pakai UHC. Hanya tinggal keseriusan kita mengawal program-program tersebut agar mudah diakses masyarakat serta pelayanannya di lapangan agar berjalan baik,” terang Wita, yang mengusung tagline Sejahtera Kita Bersama.
Wita berharap niatnya itu bisa terkabul untuk kemaslahatan bersama. Caleg nomor urut 8 ini pun menjemput dukungan dan mengapungkan doa dari masyarakat banyak khususnya yang berdomisili pada 11 Kecamatan di Kota Medan yang masuk Daerah Pemilihan Sumut 1 atau juga dikenal dengan sebutan Dapil Medan A.
“Saya akui memang saya ini caleg modal Pas-pasan. Jangan harapkan sembako atau buah tangan sekarang. Duit saya hanya dicukup-cukupkan untuk operasional keliling, door to door menemui masyarakat. Tapi saya tekad ingin menang dan bisa duduk menjadi Anggota DPRD Provinsi Sumatera Utara. InsyaAllah masyarakat mau mendukung dan mencoblos saya. Kalau nanti saya sudah menang dan dilantik, saya pastikan sejahtera kita bersama dan fokus pada program kesehatan masyarakat,” pungkasnya dengan nada tegas
Menguatkan hal tersebut, tokoh pemuda yang juga aktivis gerakan serta buruh tinta Edison Tamba atau akrab disapa Edoy ini, mengakui sosok Wita Wahyuni Bidan yang selalu ikhlas menolong masyarakat kecil, tanpa lelah dan pamrih.
“kalau bicara tenaga Kesehatan (Nakes) yang ikhlas menolong tanpa pamrih, seprti bidan margaret, nek nonong atau bidan rusinem, Wita Wahyuni ini salah satu bidan yang layak disandang sebagai Nakesnya kaum marginal”pungkas Edoy. (Rel)
