Stabat – Tokoh Adat Melayu Adhan Nur SE mendatangi Kantor DPC PDIP Langkat, Senin (29/4/2024) pagi. Bersama tokoh masyarakat dan pendukungya, Adhan mengembalikan berkas pendaftaran sebagai bakal calon (Bacalon) Bupati Langkat 2024 ke panitia penjaringan di kantor parpol itu.
Kehadiran Ketua Umum Gerakan Bangsa Melayu Bersatu (Gerbang Malay) ini, disambut hangat Sekretaris DPC PDIP Langkat Ahmad Muhazir SSos I. Salah satu parpol tertua ini, merupakan parpol yang pertama untuk mengembalikan berkas pendaftaran bacalaon kepala daerah.
“Hari ini kita mengembalikan berkas pendaftaran bakal calon (Bacalon) kepala daerah Kabupaten Langkat. Motivasinya ingin merubah Kabupaten Langkat ini lebih sejahtera kedepannya,” tutur Adhan.
Dengan pakaian khas Melayu yang dikenakannya, ia mengaku bangga sebagai sebagai putera Melayu yang ikut berkompetensi dalam pilkada mendatang.
Usai menyerahkan berkas pendaftaran ke DPC PDIP Langkat, Adhan pun bergegas ke parpol lainnya yang masih membuka penjaringan. Rencananya, Adhan akan mengunjungi PPP dan parpol lainnya. “Kalau Partai Golkar sudah menutup penjaringan,” kata dia.
Ia berharap, kalau bisa jadi menjadi nomor satu. Tapi kalau kehendak Allah ia menjadi nomor dua, Adhan siap menerimanya. Dirinya juga berharap, agar dapat berperan dalam membangun Kabupaten Langkat.
“Intinya, kita dapat berperan di Kabupaten Langkat ini. Untuk membangkitkan Negeri Bertuah ini. Sehingga dapat menjadi kabupaten yang layak untuk diperhitunkan di Sumatera Utara,” tegasnya.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Ahmad Muhazir menerangkan, sejak 18 April 2024 kemarin, sudah ada 8 orang yang mengambil formulir pendaftaran Bacalon Bupati Langkat. “Sudah empat orang yang mengembalikan,” kata dia.
Begitupun, kata Muhazir, DPC PDIP Langkat masih terus melakukan penjaringan. Sehingga, potensi untuk menjaring tokoh-tokoh potensial terus terbuka bagi warga Langkat.
“Kita masih mencari tokoh-tokoh potensial. Baik tokoh agama, masyarkat dan pemuda. Selama ini tidak ada kendala. Kalaupun ada, paling masalah berkas. Kita masih bersedia bacalon untuk melengkapi berkasnya,” tutur Ahmad. (Ahmad)
