MEDAN – Dalam rangka mempererat silaturahmi antar pengurus, Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) PENJARA Sumut menggelar buka puasa bersama sekaligus pemberian paket sembako kepada warga sekitar dan anak yatim piatu. Kegiatan juga di hadiri langsung oleh anggota DPR-RI, HM Husni SEMM
“Kegiatan ini adalah pembagian paket sembako dan bakti sosial kepada masyarakat sekitar dan sesama rekan LSM Penjara Sumut. Jadi tadi kita membagikan paket lebih kurang 300 paket kepada masyarakat sekitar dan anak yatim piatu,” ujar Ketua DPD LSM Penjara Sumut, Adi Warman Lubis didampingi pengurus lainnya, Minggu (7/4/2024).
Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kantor DPD LSM Penjara Sumut Jalan Pasar VIII, Pajak Gambir, Desa Sei Rotan, Percut Seituan ini diharapkan dapat mempererat silaturahmi sesama pengurus.
“Harapan kita LSM Penjara ke depan makin sukses dan kompak selalu memperjuangkan masyarakat yang membutuhkan pendampingan dan masyarakat yang terzolimi masalah hukum,” kata Adi.
Adi sekali lagi menegaskan pihaknya siap membantu masyarakat yang membutuhkan pendampingan untuk mendapatkan keadilan.
“Kita siap membantu jika ada masyarakat yang terzolimi tidak mendapatkan kepastian hukum, kita siap mendampinginya untuk mendapatkan keadilan dan kepastian hukum,” tegasnya.
Dalam sambutannya, Anggota DPR RI, HM Husni SE MM, mengapresiasi kegiatan LSM Penjara Sumut dan mendoakan semoga DPD LSM Penjara Sumut dapat terus sukses dan membela masyarakat terzolimi.
